Only the strongest need apply. This event, which has already been running for more than 10 years, attracts the most impressive superheroes of the mountain bike universe. Every year, more international competitors attempt to overcome the challenges. They all compete with great courage to reach their goal. The BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites is one of the most demanding mountain bike races in Europe with its route around the Sella Massif.

Probably the hardest mountain bike race in the heart of the Dolomites. Elite mountain bikers and long-distance fans are welcome. Only suitable for true legs of steel.

Competition details
Two different routes over the 4 mountain passes around the Sella Massif: the Gardena pass, the pass Campolongo, the Pordoi pass and the Sella pass. The longer of the two routes also passes over the Mahlknechtjoch. Professional cyclists will compete but anyone can register to take part.
The date for this year’s race is 15. Juni 2024.
- - HERO DOLOMITES 86 KM / 4.500 m climb: Be a true hero and compete with the best. Because anyone who completes this race at the highest level is a true hero!
- - HERO DOLOMITES 60 KM / 3.200 m climb: The route is slightly shorter but no easier. Push those pedals hard because it’s real madness.
